Vicky Sue Brading, 59, Valley Falls, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at her home.

She was born March 31, 1956, at Atchison, the daughter of John and Dorothy Carson Brading. She received most of her high school education at Valley Falls, and then graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka. She graduated from a cosmetology school in Topeka.

Sue was a homemaker. She had worked as a waitress at several restaurants and  had worked at Luce Press Clippings in Topeka. She was a member of St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Valley Falls.    

Survivors include her companion, Pete Hosler, of the home; three sons, Jason (Jessica) Herbster, and Ritchie (April) Herbster, all of Valley Falls, and Tyler (Jessica) Herbster, Topeka; her father, John Brading, Topeka; six brothers, John Brading, Surprise, AZ, Mike (Sheila) Brading, Virgil “Skip” (Cheryl) Brading, Terry Brading, Rick (Shirley) Brading and Bill (Tina) Brading, all of Topeka; three sisters, Dorothy “Dot”  (Tom) Reichart, Basehor, Samantha Brading, Topeka, and Cathy Brading (Steve Wichman), Valley Falls; and five grandchildren.

A Memorial Prayer Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Inurnment will follow at the parish cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday.
