Phyllis Elaine (White) Whitaker, 80, of Wetmore, Kansas, died October 8, 2015, at Stormont-Vail.

She was born June 25, 1935, to Lawrence and Wilma White and later married Lyle Whitaker on August 3, 1956.

Phyllis is survived by daughter, Karen Johnson; sons, Steven and Philip Whitaker; grandchildren, Jason Whitaker, Jamie Zayed, and Maryam Zayed; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marcella Stedman.

Her husband, Lyle; a son, David; her parents; and a granddaughter, Cathy predeceased her.

Services will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Methodist Church in Wetmore.
