Patricia A.”Patti” Surritt, 72 of Atchison, KS, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Atchison Senior Village.

Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Oak Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Ryan VanPeursem officiating. Memorials are suggested to Atchison Senior Village or NEK Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.

Patti was born on October 12, 1943 in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Raymond and Ruby (Hinson) Surritt. She graduated from Atchison High School. Patti worked for TG&Y and Wal-Mart in the cash office. She enjoyed painting, crafts, taking pictures, and playing practical jokes.

Survivors include two sisters; Virginia Surritt, Atchison, KS, Mona Chapman, Wichita, KS, niece; Erin Tuttle, Wichita, KS, two nephews; Michael (Gayle) Chapman, Independence, KS, Christopher (Connie) Chapman, Tyro, KS, four great nieces; Hilary (Adam) Suppes, Taylor and Kaitlyn Chapman, Alexis Tuttle, three great nephews; Cameron and Corey Chapman, Rylan Tuttle, great great nephew: Ethan Suppes.

She was preceded in death by her parents. .
