Keith A. Harden, 74, Horton, KS, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 at the Mission Village Living Center, Horton, KS.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, Oct.28th, 2015 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church . The body has been cremated; burial of cremated remains will follow in the Old Huron Cemetery, Huron, KS.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral home who is handling the arrangements. Keith was born on June 7, 1941 in Ft. Collins, CO, the son of Cecil and Maude
(Brown) Harden. He graduated from Atchison County Community High School in 1959. Keith served as a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1960-1964. He worked for Snowden-Mize Company for 8 years and then as a cottage parent for the Atchison Youth Center. Keith was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lancaster,  the Horton Senior Citizens   He enjoyed  going to auctions, collecting and antiquing. 

Survivors include a son Donald Harden, Tonganoxie, KS , Two daughters, Sharon ( Mark) Hurst, Effingham, KS and Terri  Hurtado,  Lawrence, KS a sister, Margie Lanter, Nortonville, KS, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His parents, two brothers, Vic and Bill Harden, and a nephew preceded him in death.
