Sylvia Kathleen “Kathy” Boaz, 71, of Troy, Kansas passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at her home.

She was born on July 13, 1944 in Topeka, Ks. to Glenn & Grace (Howland) Sullivan.

Kathy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy, Ks. She was a housewife, who was very active with her church & community.

She married Jerry Boaz on April 27, 1968 in Topeka, Ks. Jerry survives of the home.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her aunt and uncle, Vivian and Leon Howland, who raised her; a sister Vivian Branscom; brothers Mervin Sullivan and Ray Sullivan.

Additional survivors include – 2 daughters, Tammy Walker and Rebecca Boaz both of Bonner Springs, KS; A son, Chris Boaz (Felieta) of St. Peters, Mo.; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
Sisters – Jeannine Bechtold, Glenda Butner, Judy Hetz, and Nellie Brockhoff;
Brothers – Donald, Reuben, Walter, Gary and Mike Sullivan

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Monday, at the First Baptist Church, Troy, Ks.
Visitation: Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Troy, Ks. Friends may call after 9 A.M. Sunday at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Kansas.
Burial: 3:00 P.M. Monday at the Prairie Home Cemetery, Topeka, Ks.
