Dorothy M. Weber, 98, Atchison, Kansas, died Friday, November 06, 2015, at Atchison Senior Village.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, OSB officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation with the family will 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11th, at the church with a recitation of the rosary at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Patrick’s Cemetery or St. Benedict Parish and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Dorothy was born May 19, 1917, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob P. and Alice Knowles Weber. She graduated from Mount St. Scholastica Academy.

Dorothy worked for many years as a caretaker of families who had welcomed a newborn into the home, she also worked in the home of the Muchnic Family and Bush Family for many years.  She later became employed with Cray Senior Manor as the activities director for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include a brother, Robert “Bob” Weber, Atchison, KS, two sisters, Delores (Ed) Moranz, Mountain Home, AR, Ruthanna Ramsey, Topeka, KS, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Herman, Aloysius, Leonard, Ralph, Leo, Edward and Jake Weber and three sisters, Irene Glancy, Helen Lee and Evelyn Gray.
