Harold E. Allen, 80, of Topeka, KS passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at Stormont Vail Hospital. He was born May 11, 1935 in Topeka, the son of Roy Thomas and Fern (Burkett) Allen.

Harold graduated from Highland Park High School in 1953. He also attended 3 years and graduated from Faith Bible Institute. Harold proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years, during both Korea and Vietnam.

He had worked for Furr’s Cafeteria as a cook and worked for over 20 years at Wal-Mart in Topeka. Harold also worked in the oil fields in Hays. He was a member of North Rock Baptist Temple in Topeka.

On January 31, 1974, Harold married Linda F. Brandon in Topeka. She survives of the home. Other survivors include a son, Timothy L. Genoble of Iola; 3 daughters, Tammy L. Aguilar of Berryton, Michelle L. Eitel of Topeka and Nichole H. Allen of Topeka; a sister, Carol Allen Pate of Cedar Hill, MO; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Allen.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the North Rock Baptist Temple in Topeka. Burial will follow in the Holton Cemetery.
