Wayne Edward Henry, 56, Winchester, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE. 

Wayne was born August 19, 1959 in Atchison, the son of Alfred James and Mary Jane Noll Henry. He was a 1977 graduate of Jefferson County North High School.
He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 37 years, serving as a senior instructor in the training division.  He was a member of the National Fur Harvester’s Association of Kansas.

He was married to Mary Jane Robertson on May 28, 1988 in Leavenworth, she survives at the home, He is also survived by his parents, Alfred James and Mary Kathryn Henry, Nortonville, one son, Ely (Ashley) Henry, McLouth, three brothers, Mark Henry, Los Angeles, CA, Jon Henry, Oskaloosa, Joe Henry, Asbury, MO, three sisters, Arlene Wheeler, Bartlesville, OK, Alicia Robertson, Phoenix, AZ, and Paula Larson, Nortonville.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Emily Jean Henry in 1996.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Nortonville. Burial will be at Winchester-Wise Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday at Barnett Family Funeral Home, (1220 Walnut/Hwy 59) Oskaloosa.
