Raymond Oscar Greene (August 3, 1952 - November 12, 2015) Raymond "Oscar" Shaq-Wah-Nah Greene, 63, of Powhattan, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Onaga Community Hospital in Onaga, Kansas. He was born on August 3, 1952 in Holton, Kansas the son of Collins and Deanna Mzhickteno Greene. Oscar worked as a general laborer in construction, for area farmers and the casino. He was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe, Native American Church, Kickapoo Chapter and Delia Chapter. He loved his church and the outdoor life. He is survived by a sister, Mary Jessepe of Mayetta, Kansas; two brothers, Edwin Green and Cleary Craine both of Powhattan, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Thelma Greene, Dionna Craine and Ramona Ramierz and two brothers, Alan "Rocky" Greene and John Collins Greene. Native American Church Services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Wayne Jessepe's home on the Kickapoo Reservation. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
