Roy Wayne Hale, 64, of Atchison, Kansas died Tuesday, Dec. 8th, 2015 at the Atchison Hospital surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Friday, Dec. 11th, 2015 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster, KS. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Roy was born on May 21, 1951 in Atchison KS the son of Albert & Ruby (Green) Hale. He graduated from Atchison County Community High School in 1969. Roy worked on the family farm and as a crane operator for the former Rockwell International and later was an over the road truck driver for many years. Roy was a member of the NRA, and enjoyed hunting, and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters; Jenny (Brian) Spilman, Cummings, KS, and Casandra Hale, Cummings, KS. His parents, Albert & Ruby Hale, Atchison, three brothers; David (Alana) Hale, Cummings, KS., Gerald Hale, Atchison KS., and James (Carol) Hale, Atchison KS, two sisters; Sarah (Luke) Erpelding, Atchison, KS., and Nancy Hauetter, Kansas City, MO, three grandchildren , one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
