Frieda D. (Dwyer) Marolf, 103, of Elwood, Kansas passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 at a nursing home in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Frieda was born on February 11, 1912 in Blair, Kansas to Oscar and Della (Clark) Dwyer. She was a farmer, a cook at the Elwood School, Wathena Nursing Home and had worked at the Wathena Applehouse.

She was a member of the Elwood United Community Church, Elwood Community Club and Rebecca’s.

Frieda married Robert Marolf on June 25, 1929 in Troy, Kansas. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John, Owen, Roy & Alfred Dwyer, son-in-law, Harold Davis, Sr. and Dale Lamm, grandson, Harold Davis Jr. and 3 great-grandchildren.

Survivors; daughters, Pat Davis of St. Joseph, Missouri Judith Lamm of Atchison, Kansas Son; Charles Marolf (Della) of Platte City, Missouri 7 Grandchildren 9 Great-grandchildren 3 great-great-grandchildren
