Cathy Lott, 85, of Tecumseh, Nebraska was born to Joe and Jessie (Spradley) Stettenbenz in Tecumseh, Nebraska on December 2, 1930.  She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1948.  Cathy was united in marriage to Jay R. Lott of Ida, Oklahoma. To this union five children were born.

Cathy worked at Swanson’s, which later became Campbell’s Soup for a total of 39 years.  She really enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, watching television, and most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cathy moved to Ridgeview Towers in February of 2014 and passed away January 2, 2016 at Belle Terrace at the age of 85 years and one month.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay Lott, sisters, Pat Peterson and Mary Ellen Stettenbenz, grand daughter, Johna Jaye (Berner) Koza, and grandson-in-law, Dickie Parrish. 

Cathy is survived by her children, Linda Berner and husband Roger of Lincoln, Nebraska, Leo Lott and wife Sharon of Geneva, Nebraska, Lois Kage and husband Terry of Tecumseh, Carla Meints and husband Rhett of Tecumseh, Nebraska and Marty Lott and wife Deb of Olive Branch, Mississippi, 13 grandchildren and 19 plus great-grandchildren.      

Memorial services will be held at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 with Rev. Hugh Giesbrecht officiating. 

Visitation will be held at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. 

Memorials may go to the family’s choice.   Inurnment will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
