Hilda L. (Topp) Straube, 84, of Tecumseh, passed away January 6, 2016 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  She was born to Jake and Lavina (Dirksen) Topp on July 21, 1931 at Douglas, NE.  

Survivors: sons, Donald Straube and wife Karen and David Straube and wife Paula of Tecumseh, five grandchildren, Megan Straube, Tuscon, AZ, Sara Schuster and husband Russell of Lincoln, Julie Straube of Beatrice and fiance’ Kevin Homolka, Jamie Straube of Omaha  and Jackie Straube of Omaha, 2 great-granddaughters, Halle and Natalie Schuster, nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold ‘Joe” Straube and brother, Ervin Topp.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Pastor Rob Clark officiating.  Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1-8 p.m.   Memorials may go to the family’s choice.  Interment will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.  Online condolences may be left @ www.wherrymortuary.com.
