Rebecca Lynne Crismas, 37, of Wetmore, KS passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 as a result of an auto accident. She was born August 13, 1978 in Yuba City, CA the daughter of David and BobbyJean (McLennan) Smith. 

Rebecca graduated from Marysville High School in 1996 in Marysville, CA. From 1997 – 1998 she attended Fleet Training School in San Diego, CA. Rebecca proudly served in the United States Navy as a Sonar Tec from 1997 – 2002. She currently was a homemaker.

She had lived in the Wetmore community for 5 years and previously lived in Holton and Norfolk, VA.

Rebecca was a former member of Wave Church in Norfolk, VA and First Baptist Church in Holton. She was currently a member of the Wetmore Bible Church in Wetmore.

Rebecca married Aaron Clarence Crismas on August 11, 1999 in Norfolk, VA. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her 7 children, Myrna, Alvana, Juliana, Malinda, Jonas, Joshua and Jebidiah all of the home; her mother, BobbyJean McLennan-Smith of Topeka, KS; step-mother, Margie Smith of California; father and mother-in-law, Ted and Sylvia Wilson of Wetmore, KS; a sister, Sarah Smith of Houston, TX and 2 brothers, Jonathan Smith of Fallon, NV and Chad Smith of Woodland, CA.

She was preceded in death by 3 infants and her father, David Smith.

A Celebration of Rebecca’s Life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Holton. Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
