Thomas Fassnacht
Dishon- Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton

Thomas Robert Fassnacht, 66, of rural Muscotah, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his home.

He was born on July 15, 1949 in Horton, Kansas the son of Harold and Dorothy Monson Fassnacht. Tom was a farmer, enjoyed hunting, John Deere Tractor's and driving around the area looking at the crops. He was a weed fanatic and enjoyed farming with his sons. He was a member of the NRA and former member of the Young Farmer's and Rancher's Association. On February 14, 1970 he married Anita Watkins in Larkenburg, Kansas. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons, Patrick (Amy) Fassnacht of Whiting, Kansas and John (Sarah) Fassnacht of Muscotah, Kansas; five grandchildren, Trisha, Wyatt, Aaron, Cody and Taylor Fassnacht. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Muscotah United Church. The family will greet friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. Burial will be at the Muscotah Cemetery.
