Mary A. Campbell, 91, of Falls City, NE passed away on February 22, 2016 at Falls City. She was born August 31, 1924 to the late Ernest and Elise (Yocum) Hale at De Kalb, MO. 

She married Kenneth Campbell on October 15, 1943 at St. Joseph, MO. He passed away February 23, 2008.

Mary was raised at St. Joseph and graduated from Benton High School in 1942. After graduation she attended and graduated from Platt Business School in St. Joseph.  She worked for a lawyer and Park Bank in St. Joseph until moving to Falls City in 1955.  She was a housewife until 1969 when she bought Katy’s Dress Shop.  She retired in 2010.

She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church and was a Church Deacon, part of the church session, member of the Falls City Chamber of Commerce, Retail Merchants Association, hospital auxiliary, and a Beta Sigma Phi charter member. She was the Grand Marshall of the Cobblestone Parade in 2010.

She is survived by sons, Rodney Campbell and his wife Debbie of Brooklyn Park, MN and Rick Campbell of McMinnville, OR. Her sister, Helen Eastbourn of De Kalb, MO. Grandchildren, Jason Campbell and his wife Ivey of Falls City, Shannon Campbell of Las Vegas, NV, Mic Campbell and his wife Nikki of Brooklyn Park, MN, Chrissy Schoen and her husband Jason of Champlin, MN.  Great grandchildren, Peyton Campbell, Keldon Campbell, Aurdrey Schoen, and Collin Schoen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, two sisters, and a grandchild, Tara Konruff.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Presbyterian Church, Friday, February 26, at 10:30 A.M. with Reverends George Cook, Carolynn Winters-Hazelton and John Hogue officiating.  Inurnment to follow at Steele Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home
