Richard "Rick" Clift, 63, of Horton, Kansas passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Hickory Pointe Nursing Center in Oskaloosa, Kansas. 

He was born on May 6, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of Garland Clift Jr. and Geraldine Wahwassuck. Rick worked as a chef and head cook at several different restaurants. He was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe. 

Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Clift of Horton, Kansas; daughter, Alisha Winters of Highland, Kansas; two sons, Dustin and Dallas Clift; brother, Thomas Clift of Horton, Kansas; two grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Michael Clift. 

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. Burial will be at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
