Delmar R. Schmidt, 91, of Tecumseh, passed away Feb. 25, 2016 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh.    Delmar is survived by his wife, Wanda of Tecumseh, son, James Schmidt and wife Debra of Lincoln,  grandsons,  Michael Schmidt and wife Renee, Wyatt Schmidt and wife Jacquie and Owen Schmidt, granddaughter, Caitlyn Schmidt and great-granddaughter, MaKenzie Schmidt.   He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Virgil and sister Alberta.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Zion Lutheran Church north of Johnson, Nebraska, with Rev. John Kisling officiating.            

Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Friday, March 4, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.     Memorials may go to the Zion Lutheran Church, Johnson, Nebraska.    Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska with full military honors.
