Betty Jo Gage, 78, of Easton KS died Friday, March 5, 2016 at her residence in Easton.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Friday, March 18th, 2016 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with burial of cremated remains in the Round Mound Cemetery, Cummings, KS.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Friday, March 18th at the funeral home; Memorial contributions are suggested to Round Mound Cemetery or Atchison Animal Shelter and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Betty was born on January 2, 1938 in Atchison, KS the daughter of Victor and Bessie (Mayfield) Barber. She attended grade school and High School in Atchison.  Betty worked at a dry cleaner, at a local hotel in housekeeping before being a care giver in homes for families.  Betty formerly attended Carol Baptist Church with her family. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, board games, the lottery, and especially loved animals.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Ann (Jim) Tull, Atchison, KS , her care givers Ed & Helen Gauger, of the home, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
