Norman Bruce Ellis, Jr., 44, Atchison, Kansas died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral services are pending at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas.

Norman was born March 25, 1971 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Norman Bruce Ellis, Sr., and Linda Willmeth Ellis.  He attended Atchison schools and an electronic institute for two years.

He and Teresa Clark were united in marriage on September 16, 1989 in Atchison, Kansas.  They were later divorced.

Mr. Ellis worked as a brick layer for many years as a member of the brick layers union.  He had also formerly worked for J. E. Dunn Construction Company in Kansas City.

Survivors include his mother, Linda (Mike) Piper, Atchison, KS, two sons, Norman Bruce Ellis, III, Atchison, KS, Jesse Aaron Ellis, Atchison, KS, two daughters, Amber Dawn Ellis, Connersville, IN, Alyssa Marie Ellis, Atchison, KS, a brother, John Ellis, Atchison, KS, a sister, Michelle Drimmel, Atchison, KS and five grandchildren.
