James “Jim” Richardson

James “Jim” Richardson, 73, of Elwood, Kansas died at his residence on Saturday, March 19, 2016. 

Jim was born on May 4, 1942 in Maryville, Missouri to William Elmer & Mary (Birch) Richardson. 

He was a member of the Eagles, Bicentennial CB Club of 1976, using CB handle “Jim Beam” Jim retired from the Labors Local #579 of St. Joseph. 

Jim married Beverly Scott on April 12, 1965. She survives of the home. James was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; William (Bill) Richardson, Gary (Wes) Richardson, his daughter, Peggy Sue Rizer, and great-grandson, Orion Richards. 

Additional survivors:Raymond (Noelle) Rizer of South Jordan, Utah; 

Darryl (Starr) Richardson of St. Joseph, Missouri; 

Theresa Richardson (Charles Huff), Mary (Jimmy Dale) Allen, James (Tina) Richardson and Patty (Brian) Lampshire all of Elwood, Kansas; 

Brother, Larry Richardson of Murrieta, California; 

19 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. 

FUNERAL: Wednesday, March 23, 2016 – 2:00 P.M. 

At: Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas 

Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri 

Visitation: family will receive friends Tuesday evening 6-8 pm where friends may call after 2 pm. 

Memorials In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the St. Croix Hospice.
