Naomi Ruth Bahr, 94, of Falls City, NE passed away March 28, 2016. She was born on July 22. 1921 to the late John and Martha (Ernsting) Karsten.

She married Roy Bahr on April 5, 1942 at Falls City, NE

Naomi was raised in the Verdon area and attended the Verdon schools and Parochial school. Following her schooling she stayed home and attended to her ill mother. When married the couple established their home Northwest of Falls City, moving into Falls City where she worked at Jack & Jill, Tober’s Vogue, and Katy’s.  She retired in 1991. She was a member of St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, six miles north of Falls City, a member of Dorcas Circle of her church and the Cottage Grove Kensington Club, and Lutheran Women’s Ministry League.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Bahr, of Falls City, her daughter, Sandra Leeding and her husband Doyle of Castaic, CA and son Jay Bahr and his wife Jennifer of Lincoln, NE.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold, Melvin, Clarence, and Wilfred Karsten, son, Terry Bahr.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 31 at 10:30 A.M. at St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, six miles north of Falls City, with Pastor Daniel Gifford officiating.  Interment will follow at the St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.

 Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 30 from 7:00-8:00 P.M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
