Larry Wayne Stahl, 80, of Fairview, Kansas passed away at his home Sunday, April 10, 2016.

Larry was born January 4, 1936 to Fawn Arthur Stahl and Twilla Leverne Gordon. He attended and graduated from Fairview High School. Larry married Darlene Lehmkuhl on July 31, 1954. He was a member of the Fidelity Knights of Columbus, and also attended the St. Augustine’s Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Darlene in October 1, 2009.

He is survived by three sons; Joe (Emy) of Tecumseh, Nebraska, Art (Pam) of Granger, Indiana, and David (Jane) of Morrill, Kansas; three daughters, Denise (Steve) Pfeifer of Hays, Kansas, Leisa Stahl of Hiawatha, Kansas, and Sheri (Troy) Lay of Sabetha, Kansas; one brother, Jerry Stahl of Omaha, Nebraska; and sixteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine’s Catholic Church. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. with a parish rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha. The interment will be made in the St. Augustine’s Catholic Church Cemetery.
