Randall "Randy" Rodvelt, 47, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Mission Village Living Center in Horton, Kansas.

He was born on March 2, 1969 in Horton, Kansas the son of George Paul and Patricia Crider Rodvelt.

Randy worked as a CNA at the Tri-County Manor before going to work in the security department at the Golden Eagle Casino. He then worked for the Topeka Police Department and was a tire builder at Goodyear. Randy was a member of the St. Leo's Catholic Church, Willis All Stars 4-H Club, enjoyed hunting mushrooms and was an avid KU Jayhawk Fan. On October 26, 2002 he married Tammy Koppa in Mayetta, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Rodvelt of Circleville, Kansas; step daughter, Justina Hartman of Circleville, Kansas; step son, Garrett Hartman of Circleville, Kansas; granddaughter, Lexi AKA "The Bear"; mother, Patricia Rodvelt of Hiawatha, Kansas; son, Alec Rodvelt of Topeka, Kansas; daughter, Kasey Rodvelt of Topeka, Kansas; sister, Janet (Mike) Bowen of Horton, Kansas; brothers, Greg (Gretchen) Rodvelt of Horton, Kansas, Rich (Tonya) Rodvelt of Horton, Kansas and Brian (Rhonda) Rodvelt of Everest, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, infant brother, Jason, infant sister, Kelly, nephews, Michael Bowen and Kristopher Jimeson and a niece Ashley Jimeson.

A Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the St. Leo's Catholic Church in Horton, Kansas. A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M. on Friday evening at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends following the Rosary.
