William R. Seymore, 58, St. Joseph, Missouri formerly of Atchison, Kansas died Monday, April 11, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, Missouri.

Services will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church in Atchison, Kansas.  Visitation with the family will be Saturday, April 23^rd from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the church.  Inurnment of the cremated ashes will be at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery.  The Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.arensbergpruett.com.

William was born August 26, 1957 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Theodore “Pete” and Clara Mae Roger Seymore.  He attended Martin East and Martin West Elementary Schools and Atchison High School.

He and Nina M. Rawls were united in marriage on June 17,  ???? in Atchison, Kansas. 

Mr. Seymore was a self-employed carpenter most of his working life.

Survivors include his wife, Nina M. Seymore, St. Joseph, MO; three sons, William (Lealla) Jones, Casper, Wy; William R. Seymore, Jr., St. Joseph, MO; Jackie Busey, St. Joseph, MO;  two daugthers, La Shauna (Tadarius) Hooper, Birmingham, Al; Abry Seymore, Kansas City, MO; four brothers, Paul (Brenda) Seymore, Minneapolis, MN; Nathaniel (Alta) Seymore, Atchison, KS; Douglas (Natalie) Seymore, Cheyenne, WY; Larry Seymore, Wichita, KS; two sisters, Dorothy (Dizzie) Wilson, Denver, CO; Coyetta (Leonard) Green, Atchison, KS; eight grandchildren, and nine step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Theodore Seymore, Jr.
