Genevieve G. Hanlan, 81, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday, June 6, 2016 at her home. 

Genevieve was born on November 8, 1934 in Newfoundland, Canada to John & Rita (Southwell) O’Leary. 

She was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe of St. Joseph, Missouri. 

Genevieve married William E. Hanlan in 1960 in Boston, Massachusetts. He preceded her in death. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents & a son, John Patrick Hanlan. 

Survivors, sons, William E. Hanlan Jr., C. Michael Hanlan (Debby), Danny Hanlan & Jimmy Hanlan(Kaitlyn) all of St. Joseph, Missouri; 

Grandchildren, Robert, Katie, Mikey, Mindy, Missy, Kelsea, Amberly, Rylee & Elijah; 

Sisters, Marcella Dimock, Carmel Hatch, Bridgette Eaton, Frances Layman, Paula Evely & Barbara Penny;

Brothers, Joseph, Kevin, Jerry, Junior, Don, Derm & Cyril;

Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. 

Funeral Mass: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 18, 2016 

At the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in St. Joseph, Missouri 

Visitation: 6:30-8 Friday evening at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home 310 Fremont St. Wathena, Kansas, where friends may call after 12noon Thursday. 

Burial: Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy, Kansas
