Danny Wayne Pace, of St. Joseph, MO, formerly of Hiawatha, KS, died Saturday, June 11, 2016, at his home. He was 52.

Danny was born June 7, 1964, in Falls City, Nebraska to Juanita McFeeters. He grew up in the Horton-Hiawatha area where he attended school. Danny was currently employed at Triumph Foods in St. Joseph.

Danny enjoyed the KC Chiefs and the Royals. Rock music was one of his passions, as well as, collecting vintage cassette tapes. His talents and hobbies included barbequing/smoking meats, and mushroom hunting.

He and the love of his life, Brook Ingram, were married on May 5, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives at the home.

Also surviving is his mother Juanita (Richard) McFeeters of Hiawatha, sisters: Judy (Rick) Johnson of Hiawatha, Tammy McFeeters of Falls City, Lori McFeeters of Pittsburg, KS; niece Amanda Johnson; nephews: Brian, Paul, Chris, and Jeremy Harmon; great-nieces Amelia, Natalie; great-nephews: Brian Jr., and Silas.

Danny was preceded in death by a son Brandon Michael Pace, and a nephew Milo Johnson.

Danny was loved by many and will be greatly missed!

A Celebration of Danny’s life is planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, June 16, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha, with cremation to follow.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services Thursday.
