Susanna Marie Taylor, 98, of Topeka, KS formerly of Holton, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. She was born October 23, 1917 in Holton, the daughter of William E. and Amanda May (Schirmer) Stoll.

Susanna graduated from Holton High School in 1935. She had lived in the Topeka area since 1962 and previously in Holton, Kansas City and San Diego.

Susanna worked in the business and insurance office at Stormont Vail Hospital for over 10 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Topeka and a former member of Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton.

She married James Melvin Taylor on May 11, 1940 in Yuma, AZ. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1994. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Edward and Wilbur Stoll.

Survivors include a son, Richard Taylor (Nancy) of Topeka; a daughter, Betty Real (Bill) of Albuquerque, NM; 4 grandchildren, Doug, Brian, Rebecca and Tricia; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with burial to follow in the Holton Cemetery.
