A visitation with Darryl’s family will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home.  Inurnment will be at a later date.  Memorial contributions in memory of Darryl are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice and may be sent to the funeral home.   Words of comfort and remembrance may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Darryl Wayne Wood was born on January 30 in 1974 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  He graduated from Atchison High School in 1992.  Darryl was employed at Fargo Assembly in Atchison as a splicer, making wire harnesses for Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  Darryl loved listening to Heavy Metal and Hard Rock bands, especially Metallica, AC/DC and Guns & Roses; and he attended many Rock concerts.  Darryl also enjoyed watching movies and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  

Darryl is survived by his parents, Roxann (Wick) and Danny Henson of Atchison; a brother, Sean Henson of Spring Hill, KS.
