Regis F. Becker, 79, of Oneida, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at his home.

He was born on August 29, 1936 on a farm south of Coal Creek, the son of Raymond L. and Rosalia Strathman Becker. He attended a country school in that area. In 1943, his family moved to a farm east of Seneca-South of Oneida; where they ran a dairy operation. Regis served in the US Army National Guard from 1954 to 1962. He remained farming the family farm until the day of his death.

Regis loved the working of the land and took pride in his cattle.

Regis was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Seneca.

Regis is survived by his three sisters, Marilyn Becker, Alice Becker and Carolyn Becker all of Seneca.

Rosaries will be prayed at 2 PM Tuesday at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.  Mass of Christian Burial is 10 AM Wednesday, July 6th, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Seneca.
