Susan Ann Denton, 62, of Holton, KS passed away July 4, 2016 at her home. She was born October 6, 1953 in Holton, KS, the daughter of Gilbert L. and Lucile (Brown) Denton.

Susan graduated from Holton High School in 1972 and later graduated from Brown Mackie School of Business in Salina.

She had lived most of her life in the Holton community and also Topeka and Carbondale.

Susan worked for the State of Kansas in the Department of Revenue for over 27 years.  She attended the Evangel United Methodist Church and was a past-member of the First Presbyterian Church, both in Holton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Dennis and Lyle Denton.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening.
