Gerald Green

Oklahoma City , Oklahoma

Gerald Nah-Nah-Gozie Green 71, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Kansas, passed peacefully from this life the morning of July 8th after a decline in his health from Vascular Dementia. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers of Grace Living Center during the last days of his life.

Gerald was born in Kansas City, Kansas, his mother was Hildreth Goze-zee-quah Shipshee Crith. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Eteeyan-Green, Parents Hildreth & Juan Crith, granddaughter Michelle Jane Harlan and great grandson Kalin T Harlan Gerald received his high school diploma in May 1959,

After high school he went into the United States Army and received an honorable discharge in April 1964. Once home from the US Army he attended and received a certificate from Morrow Automotive School. Gerald worked as a mechanic & various jobs from being a Cab Driver, Roofer & Carpenter thought out the years, He worked for Nebraska Western IA VA Med Center as custodian. Gerald enjoyed watching sports and mostly Westerns on TV, going fishing and playing cards.

Gerald is survived by his two daughters, Nicole Alice Parker & Hildreth Ann Green both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Step Children Roger Eteeyan, Steven Dahlsten & Frank Dahlsten all from Iowa & Christine Wishteyah of Omaha Ne. 16 grandchildren: and 21 great-grandchildren.

Kennekuk Church Services will be held on Wednesday July 13th at Kickapoo Community Building with burial on Thursday July 14th on the Kickapoo Reservation at the Green Cemetery. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
