Virginia Faye Page, 97, of Nortonville, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at Village Villa Care Center in Nortonville.

She was born August 21, 1918 in Williamstown, KS, the daughter of Emmett and Effie Belle Webb Laster. She was a homemaker and had lived in Nortonville since 1951 after moving back from California. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, Nortonville, and a member of the Adah Chapter of Order of Eastern Star #7 in Lawrence and formerly of Ramona Chapter in Perry. Virginia loved to play cards and work in the garden. Among her favorite things to do, she loved to eat good food and sweets :)

She was married to George Leonard Page on January 15, 1936 in Olathe, he preceded her in death on October 7, 1985.  

She is survived by two nephews, Brent Oliver, Perry, James Page, Ill, five nieces, Joyce Anne Spoon, Sterling, CO, Sally Oliver, Perry, Elizabeth Dimick, Atchison, Dorthy Alderman, Littleton, CO, Mary Bingham, Nortonville, many grand nieces, grand-nephews and many great-grand nieces and great-grandnephews. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Orville Laster and one sister, Isabelle Montour.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with Visitation 9:30 to 10:00 AM, prior to the Service. Burial will be at Nortonville Cemetery.
