Roland L. Chritton was born to Frederick and Edith Pearl (Abbott) Chritton on May 16, 1936 in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  

He passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 11 days.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, with Rev. Eric Biehl officiating.

Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials may go to the Beatrice Humane Society.
 

Inurnment will be in the Vesta Cemetery, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska with military honors by the Nebraska National Guard Funeral Honors Team and the VFW Post #8221 of Tecumseh.

He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Skudler and husband Bob of Omaha and Sharon Stoffers and husband Ron of Carter Lake, IA, 3 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
