Linda G. Lister, 69, lifelong resident of Jackson County passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Medicalodges Jackson County. She was born April 22, 1947 in Holton, the daughter of Galen and Betty (Blue) McClane.  She graduated from Hoyt High School in 1966.  In 1971 Linda married Gary Lister.  The couple later divorced.  She was a homemaker and mother and was a member of the Twins Club of Topeka and First Christian Church in Holton.

Linda is survived by: her sons, Rodney Lee Lister (Kim) of Topeka, KS and Scott James Lister of Hoyt, KS; her daughter, Tammy Rae Murphy (Matt) of Hoyt, KS; her brother, Thomas E. McClane of Arizona; her grandchildren, Jeremy Kasson, Richard Ensley, Dustin Ensley, Jessica Kutzke, Brooke Murphy, Clarissa Murphy, Jarrett Roy, and Jaymie Lister; her great-grandchildren, Ethan Kasson, Reagan Ensley, Fletcher Ensley and Arralynn Murphy; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Dennis and Richard McClane and her grandson, Mitchell Murphy.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 5th, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Hoyt.  Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Holton Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Linda Lister memorial fund and may be sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
