Doris M. Haug, 69, of Sabetha, formerly of Baileyville died Tuesday evening, August 02, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.  

Doris was born in Axtell, Kansas on December 23, 1946 the oldest child of Robert and Alma Bergman Haug. Doris attended Baileyville School in Baileyville. After school she lived on the family farm near Vermillion then later in 1996 she moved to Lakeside Terrace in Sabetha.

Doris love to take care of her family starting when they were little babies. She loved family gatherings and special occasions like Christmas, birthday to get together. Doris was involved and loved all of the events at Lakeside Terrace.

Doris’s religion met the world to her and was proud of the fact she was catholic and wasn’t afraid to show it. While at Lakeside she had many duties but the one she love is in the laundry department where she was matriculate in the duties there.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Baileyville.

Survivors are her brothers and sisters, Leon (Carol) of Frankfort, Elmer (Jane) of Centralia, Jane (Leland) Niehues of Goff, Laura (Alan) Bock of Beatrice, NE, Tom (Doris) Haug of Vermillion and Sharon (John) Enneking of Seneca; 19 nieces and nephews; 29 great-nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be prayed on Thursday, August 4th at 7 at the Lauer Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart’s Catholic Church in Baileyville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
