Timothy Allen (Tim) Peterson, 55, of Hiawatha, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, August 18, 2016, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha where he had been a resident a short time.

Tim was born at Hiawatha, April 8, 1961, the youngest of four children born to Virgil and Betty Boyce Peterson and was a lifelong resident of Hiawatha where he graduated from high school with the class of 1983 prior to being employed at BCDS.

Tim loved everyone and considered everyone his friend.  His life time girl friend was Chrissie Bryant.  They were both Donny and Marie Osmond fans.  He loved movies and knew who played in all of them.  He loved to dance and also loved to crochet pot holders.  There was no debating about him being a KU Fan!

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Terry Peterson, and niece Heather Hiatt.  

Survivors include sisters Kathleen Sechler (Gene) and Pamela Peterson, all of Wichita, KS; nephew Bradley Sechler (Dawn) of Prosper, Texas, niece Jessica Kennedy of Surprise, Arizona, and nephew Brett Davis of Peoria, Arizona; a great nephew and 3 great-nieces.

A celebration of life service is planned for 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 22, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha with Pastor Duane Tramp officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.  The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services Monday.
