Quentin B. Spiker, 82, of Horton, KS, formerly of Holton, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS. He was born March 23, 1934 in Granada, KS the son of Ivan W. and Elva G. (Kerr) Spiker.

Quentin worked for Topeka Metal Specialty as a shop foreman and as a supervisor at BMB in Holton. He later owned and operated Central Engine Rebuilders with his brother, Ivan, in Holton.

He married Rebecca Rose Davis on May 20, 1956 in Granada, KS. She preceded him in death on June 28, 2003. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Leona Frances Spiker and Leah Fern Petersen and a brother, Ivan Spiker.

Survivors include a son, Bryan Spiker of Hiawatha; a daughter, Coleen Spiker-Wilson (Steven) of Mount Joy, PA; 2 sisters, L’Wanda Brungardt (Marvin) of Topeka, KS and Loyola Holt-Ritenour (Gerald) of Holton, KS; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Granada Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
