Dorothy “Dode” Alberta (Wissler) Farwell 93 of Humboldt, Nebraska formerly of Du Bois, Nebraska passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Colonial acres, Humboldt, Nebraska.

Dorothy was born northeast of DuBois on December 3, 1922 to William G. and Lydia (Rist) Wissler.  She was baptized at the United Brethen Church in Du Bois, March 6, 1932 at the age of nine.  Dorothy became a member March 27, 1932 and transferred membership to the United Methodist church in 1968.

She is survived by her children; Pam (Joe Allison) of Auburn, NE, Diane (Richard Allison) of Seneca, KS, Patricia Farwell of Omaha, NE, Doug Farwell of Du Bois, NE, grandchildren; Patrick (Kristen) Allison, Jennifer Allison-Swartz and husband Merrill Swartz, Craig Allison, Brian Allison, great grandchildren; Bryce & Brooklyn Allison, Emma & Evelyn Allison & Madison & Reed Swartz. Numerous other family and friends.

Funeral services 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Du Bois United Methodist Church, Du Bois, Nebraska.  Officiating Reverend Sherry  Sklenar.     Visitation on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Interment at the Du Bois Cemetery.
