Rachel O. Seematter, 93, of Frankfort, KS, died Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Frankfort Community Care Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until 5 p.m. at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort.

A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12 at Annunciation Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Frankfort.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; two brothers, Clarence Roeder and Joe Roeder; and sister, Helen Olberding.

Survivors include six children, Patricia and husband Dennis Wanklyn, Jane and husband Bob Kenworthy, Dean and wife Carolyn Seematter, twins, Elma and husband Wayne Mitchell and Ellen and husband Robert Koch, Dale and wife Janet Seematter, all of Frankfort; one brother, Hubert "Hub" Roeder, Frankfort; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren.

Before her husband, Roy, passed away on March 16, 2009, one of his life long dreams was fulfilled when a large cross was erected on a hill south of Frankfort on November 2, 2008. Memorial contributions will go toward the lighting of this cross.
