Delphia Vice, 87, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 5, 2016 at Falls City. She was born December 23, 1928 at Rulo, NE to the late Herman and Louise (Scheitel) Reschke.

On May 20, 1947 she married Venton Vice at Hiawatha, KS. He passed away September 6, 2009.

Delphia was raised in rural Richardson County and graduated Falls City High School in 1946. When married the couple established their home in Falls City. She worked at various places and did bookkeeping for Darling Transfer. She also worked for all the dry cleaners doing alterations. She retired from doing alterations in 2007 and then stayed busy out on the farm they moved to in 1971 and she has lived there since. She was a member of First Christian Church.

She is survived by her sons, Steven Lynn Vice and Gary Vice both of Springfield, MO, Rick Vice and his wife Pam of Rulo, seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Richard Reschke and a grandson, Joshua Vice.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Fay Ann officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
