LeAnna Grace Hickman, 56, of Oskaloosa, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 in an automobile accident west of Perry.

She was born November 16, 1959 at Ottawa, the daughter of Samuel Dale and Leida P. Imhoff Juedes.
LeAnna was a 1977 graduate of Topeka High School and attended Highland Community College. She worked as a Senior Administrative Assistant and was currently serving as Director of Licensing for the Kansas Sate Board of Cosmetology for the last 18 years. She also worked as a veterinary assistant and secretary for Dr. Kevin Kuenzi for 6 years. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Oskaloosa for 26 years. She loved quilting and crafting, turkey hunting and fishing and spending time with her husband, daughter and grandson and family.

She married Michael Kin Hickman on January 13, 1990 at Oskaloosa. He survives at the home. Other survivors include a daughter, Amanda Jane Hickman, Topeka, three brothers, Steve Juedes, Allens Park, CO, Kurt Juedes, Topeka, Lt. Col Kirk Decker, Blue Springs, MO, two sisters, Kathryn Washburn and Nida Imhoff, both of Topeka, her step-mother, Reona Shoemaker, Topeka, a grandson, Aiden Claypole, a nephew, Dalton Imhoff-Brey and a niece, Victoria Lexis Dyer.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Juedes.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Barnett Family Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
