Richard H. Moses, 79, of Falls City passed away December 8, 2016. He was born November 9, 1937 at Lincoln, NE to the late Eldridge and Elaine Moses.

Richard married Nancy Duke on June 17, 1991 at Champaign, IL.

Richard was raised in Lincoln, NE and graduated from Lincoln High School. After high school he attend the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts after graduation he attended Wichita State University where he received his Master’s in Fine Arts.  Following graduation he began his teaching career at the University of Illinois where he taught for 37 years before retiring in 1999. Following retirement the couple resettled in Falls City and have lived here ever since. Richard was a big supporter of the Richardson County Humane Society and the EDGE program. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Richard is survived by his wife, Nancy Moses of Falls City; sons, Paul Moses of Lincoln, NE; Richard Moses, Jr. and his wife Seegal of Red Bank, NJ; daughter, Christian Moses-Igan and her husband Ian of Austin, TX; step-son, Bryan Drew of Lincoln; brother, James Moses and his wife Blair of Meza, AZ; and 12 grandchildren.

There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
