Heath Allen Hopkins, 46, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

He was born on October 25, 1970 in Pekin, Illinois the son of Marion and Patsy (Belle) Hopkins. Heath worked as a revenue auditor for the Pair Dice Casino in Peoria, Illinois and the Golden Eagle Casino. He also worked for Hemisphere GPS in the shipping and receiving department prior to going to work for the Kickapoo housing accounting department. He was a member of the USBC Bowling Association and attended the St. Leo's Catholic Church.

On March 17, 2001 he married Gidgit Lackland in Cerve Corve, Illinois. She survives of the home. Other survivors include three sons, Colby Manley of Taylor, Texas, Levi Manley of Horton, Kansas and Patrick Parson of East Peoria, Illinois; two brothers, Gale Hopkins of Manatio, Illinois and Curtis Hopkins of Pekin, Illinois; four sisters, Debbie (Mike) Simpkins of Pekin, Illinois, Susie (Andy) Davies of Pekin, Illinois, Diane (James) Strube of Peoria, Illinois and Christine Anderson of Downs, Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Rick Hopkins and two sisters, Cindy Hopkins and Donna Kay Hopkins.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends on Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M.
