Patricia Faye Wichman, 94, of Holton, KS passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Holton Community Hospital. She was born March 9, 1922 at Swede Creek Township in Riley County, KS. Patricia was the daughter of Malcom and Ethel (Bolejack) Pickett.
 
Patricia had lived in the Holton community since 1957 and previously in the Clay Center area. She was a homemaker and also owned and operated Ernie’s Second Hand Store in Holton with her husband for 15 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Holton.

 Patricia married Ernest F. Wichman on July 16, 1942 in Belleville, KS. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1996. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dale Wichman on October 4, 2016; 2 grandchildren, Mary Patricia Wichman on December 14, 1966 and Gregory Allen Wichman on August 12, 1974; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include 3 sons, Verlin Wichman (Sue) of Holton, KS, Allen Wichman of Topeka, KS and Kevin Wichman (Sandy) of Circleville, KS; 2 daughters, Carol Searles (Rob Rolin) of Denison, KS and Amy Spiker (Jared) of Circleville, KS; a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Wichman of Holton, KS; a sister, Lavon Strawhacker of Kingman, KS; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

 Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in the Holton Cemetery.
