Lorma Hladky, 86, of Holton, KS passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at her home. She was born July 18, 1930 in a farmhouse east of Holton, the daughter of Osel Preston and Mildred (Nickels) Houston.
 
Lorma graduated from Denison High School and later graduated from Washburn University with a degree in Business Administration. She lived in the Holton community for 33 years. Lorma owned and operated Hladky Refrigeration and Repair with her husband, Floyd, retiring after 20 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Holton.

She married Richard Blue on January 1, 1956. He preceded her in death. Lorma was also preceded in death by her daughter, Candice Fallgren, her brother, Paul E. Houston and her great-granddaughter, Morgan Myers. She later married Floyd Hladky, Jr. on January 27, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he survives the home.

 Other survivors include her sons, Gary Blue (Stephanie) of Fresno, CA, Richard Blue (Cheryl) of Topeka, KS and Roger Blue (Sheryl) of Hoyt, KS; a daughter Janet Blue of Topeka, KS; a step-daughter, Sharman Hladky of Holton, KS; a step-son, Floyd Hladky of Holton, KS; a brother Ronald Houston (Doreen) of San Antonio, TX; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

 Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2017 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be at the Holton Cemetery.
