Robert Dickson, 88, of Bendena, Kansas died at his home on Monday, March 6, 2017.

Bob was born on November 3, 1928 in Washington, Kansas to William & Eunice (Diller) Dickson. He lived most of his life in Bendena, served in the U.S. Army. Bob was a mechanic.

He was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bendena, Smithton Masonic Lodge #1 of Highland.

Bob married Ruby Clark on September 4, 1951 in Atchison, Kansas. She preceded him in death on May 21, 1994. He was also preceded by his parents and a sister, June Basel.

Survivors include his son, Dean Dickson (Helen) of Bendena;
Grandson, Laurence Dickson of Hiawatha, Kansas;
Granddaughter, Veronica Dickson of Bendena;
Brother, William Dickson of Culver, Kansas;
Sister, Betty Hagelbarger of the state of California;
Nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Thursday, March 9, 2017 – 10:00 A.M.
At: Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Kansas
Visitation: family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
