Melba Louise Mullins, 96, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on May 30, 2017 at the Mission Village Living Center in Horton.

She was born on November 29, 1920 in Stonewall, Oklahoma, the daughter of Carl M. and Mary Wiltsey Wade.

Melba worked as a CNA at the Tri-County Manor and the Hiawatha Community Hospital before retiring. On August 21, 1937 she married Thomas Henry Mullins in Colgate, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2012.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary (Dick) Zeltner of rural Everest, Kansas; three sons, Richard Mullins of Leavenworth, Kansas, Bob Mullins of Raymond, California and Tom Mullins of Hanford, California; sister, Bea Logue of Fireball, California; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Mullins, daughter, Trudy Sorenson, two brothers, Woodrow Wade and Cleve Wade and a sister, Berna.
