Ardeth Ann Hofmaier

Ardeth Ann (Neff) Hofmaier, 76, of Sun City West, Arizona formerly of Omaha, Nebraska was born on November 30, 1940, on a farm south of Humboldt, Nebraska to Claredon and Elta (Usher) Neff.  She attended Kenter grade school through the 6th grade and graduated from Humboldt High School with the class of 1958.  Ardeth was united in marriage to Roger Moritz and later divorced in 1981.  They were the parents of two daughters, Shari and Lisa.  Ardeth worked for many years as a secretary for N.P. Dodge Real Estate Company in Omaha.  In 1997, Ardeth moved to Arizona and later married Allan Hofmaier on September 11, 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The couple traveled many places of interest around Arizona and enjoyed the warm and sunny days.     
  

Ardeth passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at her home in Sun City West, Arizona having reached the age of seventy-six years, ten months, and nineteen days.  She was preceded in death by her parents Claredon and Elta Neff.

Ardeth is survived by her husband Allan Hofmaier of Sun City West, AZ; daughters: Shari Miklas and her husband Jim of Omaha, NE; Lisa Parisien and her husband  James of Omaha, NE; grandchildren: Nichole Moritz, Zackary (Kirstyn) Durkan, Andrew Durkan, Branden and Courtney Miklas all of Omaha, NE; great-grandson Carter Durkan; Stepsons: Dale (Jodie) Hofmaier, Russ (Lisa) Hofmaier of Omaha, NE; Steve (Penny) Hofmaier of Norwalk, IA; sister Shirley Kraft (Merlin Copeland), nephews Todd (Sheila) Kraft and Terry (Joni) Kraft, niece Michelle (Dave) Morningstar, all of Lincoln, NE; and many other relatives and friends.


Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017, at the United Methodist Church in Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastor Sherry Sklenar officiating.  A register book will be available to sign on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at The Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt, Nebraska.

Interment will be at the Humboldt Cemetery.
