Dr. Gary C. Cameron, 72, of Topeka, KS, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born June 14, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Daniel and Ellsie Cameron.

Gary grew up in the Canarsie neighborhood of SE Brooklyn in New York City. After graduating from high school there; he attended Northwest Missouri State University (Northwest) in Maryville, MO where he earned a bachelor's degree in business. Gary continued his higher education until he earned a doctorate in business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Cameron then returned to his undergraduate alma mater, Northwest, to teach. After 3 years at Northwest, he moved to Topeka, KS where he taught business at Washburn University until he retired in 2007.

Dr. Cameron is survived by two brothers; Daniel Cameron of Manhattan, NY and Gerald Cameron of San Diego, CA.

It was Dr. Cameron's wish to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
